Statement of Claim & Benefit Payment
The Statement of Claim & Benefit Payment serves as a confirmation that Medicare (Services Australia) has assessed the claim in real time and will provide a specific benefit amount to the patient.
Below is an example of the format of a Statement of Claim. You will notice that the Statement can flow onto a second page. It is expected due to the additional information from Medicare that is required to be included in the Statement.
